My ten most recent reads!

What is it?

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. (via That Artsy Reader Girl‘s blog). But more than sharing books with you, my mission here is going to be to convince you to read them!

Theme of the day: Ten more recent books, and a quick review!

Now one of my all-time favourite fantasy novel. It is such an interesting take on Arthurian Legends and the characters are amazing. Can’t wait for book two!

I loved this book, and not only for its great asexuality representation. It has a lot of important messages on friendship and boundaries.

I am a bit disappointed by this one, even if I still liked it very much. I was expecting something much more feminist, and ended up a bit frustrated on this side.

This one is a classic and it was my first time reading it. I am so surprised by all the hidden messages between the lines. It definitely is an adult novel more than a children one.

I didn’t really like this book, to be honest. It was an interesting idea but not very original in the way it was treated. I couldn’t get the main character and was bored during most of my read.

My favourite book from March! It was an amazing feminist story about a girl trying to navigate her job, earning money and dealing with the most sexist clients ever. A MUST READ.

A French novel on family and how your background isn’t supposed to define you. It was very touching.

Ma chronique sans spoiler

Since I loved Only Mostly Devastated by the same author, I jumped on this one and wasn’t disappointed. I loved the story, the bisexual representation is everything I’ve ever dreamt of AND the characters and all so very touching.

I liked the main plot of this book and its characters. But everything in it was SO TRIGGERING, to the point where I had to take breaks in my reading in order not to have a crisis… So yeah, I listed the trigger warnings on my full review if you want to check them out.

I ADORED THIS BOOK. The story is incredible, the setting amazing, but you want to know what it is so worth-reading? The characters development, it made me laugh and cry and laugh again. This is the kind of book you’ll want to reread often.

That’s all for today peeps! Have you read one of these? Do you want to? What are your last 10 reads and their ratings?

Have a nice and beautiful day/evening,
Estelle 🥐
