My favourite TV shows on Prime

Hi guys!
Some of you might know, I am a big TV show lover. With more than 15 months of watch on my TV Show Time – if you want to follow me, click here – I am always looking for more shows to discover and enjoy. Today, I wanted to share with you my Favourite TV shows on Prime. I Will do this kind of article for every platform, since I know and understand we don’t all have the same access to those shows. Let’s dive into it!

Grey’s Anatomy

Of course, the famous and extremely long medical TV show. If you haven’t watched it yet, let me try to convince you to give it to try! Don’t focus on the length (after all, the size doesn’t matter). Watching a TV show will always take time, and yes, this one will take even more time. But why could you do if not watching this one? Watching a billion more? Ask yourself: is it better to start an amazing and long TV show, that is going to make you laugh and cry and cheer for every character. Or, watch about ten short ones that you will forget just after finishing it?

American Gods

American Gods follows Shadow Moon, a man serving three years in prison who is given an early release. Shadow Moon is hired as Mr. Wednesday’s bodyguard and finds himself in a hidden world where a battle is brewing between the Old Gods and the New Gods. I love this TV show! For now, there are three season and I still really like the plot and the story. I highly recommend it!

The Boys

The Boys is set in a universe in which superpowered people are recognized as heroes by the general public and owned by a powerful corporation, Vought International, which ensures that they are aggressively marketed and monetized. But outside of their heroic personas, most are arrogant and corrupt. Listen up, this is the realistic take on superheroes we all needed to see. This show is CRAZY. And I am not only talking about the characters, but the plots themselves are impressive as well. It also serves a great criticism on our society and how we see everything in black and white instead of grey.

Good Omens

Listen up. Good. And Evil. Having huge gay vibes together. Are you hooked yet? No? Okay.
Add a yound antichirst to the equation, beautiful decors, costumes on point and a golden cast. Also, it is a mini-series, so it is perfect for those of you who prefer shorter TV series!

Fleabag

This is my favourite TV show I watched last year. If you haven’t given it a try yet, please stop everything you’re doing and start this one. I got addicted from the first minute until the last, and I still rewatch it from time to time. This is how in love I am. Because to rewatch a TV show when you have a billion on your list, you have to really love it – or be a little nut. It is the story of Fleabag, a woman trying to survive life in London after a tragedy. She is navigating her grief while being her no-filter witty self. And I loved everything about this touching comedy series.

Shameless

Meet the Gallaghers, an Irish-American family living in a poor neighbourhood in Chicago. The patriarch is a drunk sarcastic old fool, the oldest daughter has to run the house and if I have to talk about the whole family… Let’s say it is a perfect mess. Because none of them have the same mother, they all have their issues and their ways to deal with them. It is a TV show dealing with an enormous amount of themes, from parenting to love, to grief and abandon. Everything side of this TV show will ring a bell in every viewer. My favourite part of it? Definitely the rise of the main character, how she is going to become an independent strong woman when the world is against her.

Lore

I added this one because it is the adaptation of my favourite podcast ever: Lore, by Aaron Mankhe. I adored the show, and the fact it is an anthology makes it very light and fun to watch. The tales and myths shared are slightly dark and deeply interesting, I highly recommend it!

That’s all for today folks!
Have you watched some of those? I think I will make a new article very soon, because there are a lot more I would like to share with you. I am definitely more into short TV series, because I have less and less time to watch series and it is hard to remember what is going on from one episode to the other.

Have a nice and sweet day,
Estelle.
